Compensation:

The range displayed reflects the range the company reasonably expects to pay for the position. The actual compensation offered to the selected individual(s) will depend on their geographic location, relevant education, training, or experience, among other bona fide factors.

Expected Minimum Pay Rate: USD $47,270.00/Yr. Expected Maximum Pay Rate: USD $76,300.00/Yr. Responsibilities:

What You Will Do

As the Graphic Designer, you will work independently and collaboratively on the design and development of marketing materials, digital assets, advertisements, in-store signage, event designs, internal communications, and other collateral across a diverse portfolio of brands. In this role, you would ensure the proper standard of quality and visual representation of the brand and will also work with the internal creative team to ensure the visuals are working towards the overall strength of the brand.


How You Will Make a Difference

  • You will apply The Raley’s Companies brand standards across all platforms and execute creative redesigns/updates/refreshes.
  • By demonstrating flexibility and a creative eye, you will create and deliver consistent in-store signage, marketing collateral, seasonal campaigns, and store remodels.
  • You will produce assets that bring the brand to life, with consideration of design trends and new creative concepts.
  • You will provide original, imaginative ideas, designs, or artistic work to support a variety of business objectives.
  • You will apply standards from design systems and/or brand guidelines and contribute to design systems.
  • You will utilize standard graphic art techniques, equipment, and supplies.
  • You will build digital and physical mock-ups for presentations.
  • You will create or make modifications to graphic images.
  • You will maintain our corporate identity, design standards, and policies in the production of artwork and images.
  • You will create production templates and workflows for producing assets for mobile, desktop, and any other place our brand surfaces across the customer experience.
  • You will develop animated graphics and responsive designs for various digital formats including web, social, and email.
  • You will manage multiple projects independently and streamline processes to increase productivity and the quality of projects.
  • By generating a design work plan, you will provide estimates for work items and communicate dependencies and issues, as necessary.
  • You will work collaboratively with other designers and cross-functional team members to develop concepts and strategies, and to solve creative challenges.
  • You will provide creative feedback, manage timelines, and ensure brief expectations are met.

Who You Are

  • You are a mid-level designer that has a keen eye for detail.
  • You can develop creative concepts and campaigns that work consistently across various materials.
  • You are knowledgeable in current design trends.
  • You possess strong conceptual and creative thinking skills, as well as a solid knowledge of typography, color theory, design systems, and layout principles.
  • You can use Adobe Creative suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, After Effects, and Adobe XD.
  • You have a strong understanding of print and digital processes.
  • You have a positive and clear communication style; the ability to articulate ideas, voice constructive opinions
  • You can follow creative direction from verbal or written input, maintain brand standards and work collaboratively.
  • You can respond effectively and appropriately to creative feedback.
  • You can manage and execute design production based on brand style guides to ensure deliverables are executed on time.

Qualifications:

Must Haves

  • At least 3+ years of Graphic Design experience, preferably in the retail and/or food industry.
  • A compelling portfolio reflecting expertise in graphic design, typography, layout, and general artistry, with a focus on retail applications.
  • You demonstrate conceptional thinking through design work.
  • You have experience with print production, including reviewing proofs with a critical eye.
